Lantern Woods Apartments is an affordable community development that rehabilitated two properties originally built in the 1950s. The property transformed into a modern living space for residents and general affordable housing for 28 individuals and families. Beacon Property Management provides a full time, on-site property manager who oversees day-to-day operations. Holos Communities works with local nonprofit organizations, faith communities, and public agencies to coordinate on-site activities for residents and connect residents to supportive services in the area.
Barstow Community College is located directly south from Lantern Woods, and the complex is well located to a variety of services, including Food-4-Less, Rite-Aid, Holly Park, and various medical services. Nearby schools include Thompson Elementary, Henderson Elementary, Barstow Junior High and Barstow High School.
