Public Demands More Housing in Panorama City

Corazon del Valle expected to break ground in 2021

CBH is excited to announce the development of Corazon del Valle in Panorama City. Corazon del Valle will feature 180 affordable apartments for families, with supportive services. We have received a groundswell of support from the community for this project, spearheaded by teachers who have been noticing more and more students with housing instability. Having a stable home improves educational outcomes, so Corazon del Valle is important for nearby students. The neighborhood is designated by HUD as having a high need for housing.

When neighbors selected the rounded building design at community meetings, they described it as friendly and inviting. This unique design was accomplished by Perkins + Will Architects. The development will be built in two parts and start construction in early 2021. For more info, check out this article in StreetsBlog LA.
