geeking out to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs

In March we hosted a thank you lunch for Holos’ sponsors and partners in our new office/event space to share our holistic modus operandi where we unraveled some of our secret sauce including how we incorporate Maslow’s hierarchy of needs in our work. We discussed how we hit on air by sequestering CO2s and other pollutants through our Living Lungs.   We chatted how we’re recycling water to irrigate landscapes and recharge aquifers as in the case of our newly completed bioswale at Laurel Grove. And this month we’re partnering to host two events addressing food insecurity -- a grand opening of the edible gardens at Isla Intersections on April 17th and grocery distribution at our Burlington Family Apartments on April 22nd.  Maslow has taught us that there is no way for us to have opportunities for a fuller life if our basic needs are not met.
