Safe Harbor II is a partnership between Holos Communities and Flyaway Homes, delivering 40 units of prefabricated modular housing in a four-story building. The community will include 39 two-bedroom residences and one manager’s unit, alongside three courtyards, a community room, supportive service offices, and on-site property management. This project complements Safe Harbor I, Holos Communities’ other collaboration with Flyaway Homes.
The landscape design serves multiple purposes—water conservation, food production, and drought resistance—while creating a calming, colorful environment with native, drought-tolerant plants. Trees will be incorporated throughout the site to provide shade, cooling, and a softer urban atmosphere.
Safe Harbor II is conveniently located near essential services and community amenities. Wilmington’s commercial core along Avalon and Anaheim Street is less than half a mile away, with Wilmington Urgent Care and Family Clinic nearby as well. For recreation, Wilmington Recreation Center is a 10-minute walk from the site, and Wilmington Waterfront Park is about 15 minutes away. Residents will also enjoy excellent access to daily needs, with Food 4 Less just a two-minute walk. Public transit is easily accessible via the 232 bus line on Anaheim Street, offering direct connections to Downtown Long Beach and through the South Bay along Pacific Coast Highway.
Please note: all images shown are early design concepts and will be refined as the project progresses.
