Avenida will reconstruct the current Avenue Hotel located at the meeting point of the Koreatown and Rampart Village neighborhoods. When completed, Avenida will contain 75 studio units, laundry facilities, a community room, supportive service and property management offices. As part of the interior improvements, an additional security system, ADA improvements, and fire safety upgrades will be implemented. Funding for Avenida comes from Project Homekey and the County of Los Angeles, and construction began in September 2022.

Avenida is served by several public transportation options, with the Vermont/Beverly Red Line Station a minute’s walk away from Avenida, and the 14/754 bus line operating nearby. Nearby grocery stores include Mi Oaxaca Market (a 2-minute walk from Avenida) and Vons (an 11-minute walk away). Local schools include Camino Nuevo High School, Central City Value High School, Virgil Middle School, Dr. Sammy Lee Medical and Health Science Magnet Elementary School and Frank Del Olmo Elementary School.
