Holos Communities, Flyaway Homes and The People Concern Will Bring Two New Properties to Wilmington

We are excited to announce that two properties co-developed by Holos Communities and Flyaway Homes were funded through Round 1 of the California Department of Housing and Community Development’s Multifamily Super NOFA awards!

The two properties, named Wilmington 1 and Wilmington 2, will bring 90 units to the city of Wilmington when complete. These projects represent an exciting step away from reliance on the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) model and towards a more flexible path that can be utilized to build new housing.

Construction is expected to begin for both Wilmington 1 and 2 later this year.

We're also excited to share some big steps forward for our projects and team. The Nest on Jefferson's Community Wellness Center received an award from the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), Denali received an award from Long Beach and coverage from Urbanize.
