Metamorphosis on Foothill provides 47 apartments to families and formerly unhoused individuals, with 24 apartments set aside as permanent supportive housing. All 47 apartments are fully furnished and subsidized with Metamorphosis on Foothill provides 47 fully furnished apartments for families and formerly unhoused individuals, with 24 units designated as permanent supportive housing, including 10 reserved for formerly homeless military veterans through support from the Home Depot Foundation. All apartments are subsidized with Section 8 project-based vouchers from the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles and include a full kitchen, bathroom, heating, air conditioning, and furnishings.

The community offers on-site supportive services and case management, along with resident amenities such as secured entry, parking, bike storage, and dedicated offices for property management and services. Outdoor features include drought-resistant landscaping, a community garden, a small orchard, a bioswale*, and a park with ADA-compliant walking paths. High-efficiency air filtration systems and acoustically enhanced walls further protect residents from noise and air pollution due to the site’s proximity to the freeway.

Metamorphosis is well-connected by transit, with bus service available within a quarter mile on Foothill Boulevard. Nearby amenities include Vons for groceries, Sun Valley Health Center and Rite Aid Pharmacy (both within a mile), and local schools such as Gridley Street Elementary and Sylmar Charter High School.
