In May, our offices underwent an accidental, unexpected test of our solar power system, made possible by our battery wall and panel array, that gave proof of our resiliency concept in the face of unexpected challenges.

28th St. Apartments was highlighted by FORT:LA as an example of how “existing buildings can be upcycled into livable places that also sustain the community’s connection to its past,” while also adding contemporary style and addressing modern community needs.

Holos Communities hosted the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Southern California chapter for a tour of the Isla Intersections project last month, to explore the Living Lung throughout the project, and the Annenberg Paseo, which is the first shared street built in the City of Los Angeles.

The Holos Asset Management team taught tenants how to use the Resiliency Kit at NoHo Senior Villas, to be prepared for a disaster onsite.

Holos Communities partnered with Target on December 5th to bring to life the Holiday Pop-Up Shop at Avenida! This partnership brought Holos and Target together to create a shopping experience for tenants, where they received home goods and festive gifts for free to celebrate their first holiday season at Avenida.

Holos is excited to share the progress at Corazón del Valle, slated to reach completion in 2024.

When tracing the story of housing and inequity in the United States, we start to see the roots of how redlining, land use and zoning policies were the tools of choice to divide communities and exploit land for the profits of a chosen few.
